According to CITNA, Google warned the users of phones equipped with the Android operating system that the "Bale" messenger misuses the information on their mobile devices.

This warning was issued by Google Security Shield, which is responsible for checking the security of applications and protecting user data.

In the text of this warning, it is emphasized that Yes Messenger is trying to abuse people's personal information such as text messages, images, audio files or call history of Android smartphone users.

Google has suggested users remove this program from their devices.

Bale Messenger, which belongs to the National Bank, has not shown an official reaction to this issue, but the follow-up of the CITNA reporter in this regard continues.

In a similar action, Google announced in November 2022 that the Rubika messenger was insecure by displaying a warning on Android devices.

The directors of Rubica at the time described Google's action as "digital terrorism" and expressed hope that this assassination would be unsuccessful.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology reacted to this issue by publishing a statement and considered it "irresponsible".

In response to this action by Google, the Android app store "Google Play" was blocked in Iran.
