در ادامه توضیح بخشی از خاطرات ۱۶ مرداد اکبر هاشمی رفسنجانی در خصوص تغییر نام دانشگاه کرمان و جفا در حق مرحوم علیرضا افضلی پور

Some time ago, I wrote a supplementary explanation about the late Alireza Afzalipour and his wife and the sufferings that befell this good, honorable, and great couple.

The two gravestones that you see in the photo belong to Shadarvan Engineer Alireza Afzalipour and his honorable wife Sarkar Mrs. Fakhera Saba Afzalipour, who are the founders of Kerman University.

Before their death, these two honorable people had reserved a grave for themselves in Zahir al-Dawlah cemetery, but the important issue is that according to the leaders and so-called revolutionary forces of Kerman University or Kerman University of Medical Sciences, which was built with the efforts and financial resources of this honorable man, in the name of Two great thinkers and good deeds were not named.

The only name that remained of these two dear ones was Afzalipour's name on the head of a hospital and medical school of Kerman University of Medical Sciences, and the revolutionaries were satisfied with that, with the influence and measures of Hashemi Rafsanjani.

Alas, they were not buried in the place they had purchased and reserved, and only these stones are still left on the empty graves in Zahir al-Dawlah cemetery.

In front of the valuable efforts and services of these two nobles to the culture and higher education of the country, we should stand tall and salute their souls. Remember them dearly.
