The person you see in the picture, named Mohsen Sohrabi, suddenly emerged with the rise of Clubhouse in the virtual space. Along with it, he created a Telegram channel under the same name and established a media brand for himself.

He progressed to the point where he was able to engage in discussions and debates with many prominent political figures inside and outside the country, sitting down with them and gaining more credibility each day through these interactions.

Unfortunately, during this time, I, Abdollah Abdi, provided logistical assistance for some of his conversations, as I believed that independent media activists within the country should be supported to stand on their own.

However, his financial demands under various pretexts started to increase, along with requests for different forms of assistance.

Things reached a point where contradictions in his statements became strange to me, which led me to investigate his background thoroughly.

For now, I’ll set aside what he was involved in before and the legal cases he may have had in the past. Even the fact that he has not yet returned some of the money I lent him as assistance doesn't concern me much at this point.

But what truly matters and led me to make this public statement, albeit after much hesitation and consultation with other informed individuals, is that I became aware through these interactions that this individual, using the pretext of the same Clubhouse group and the Café Khabar brand, has solicited money from many individuals, under the guise of a journalist and media activist, and has not repaid them.

The number of these people and the extent of the issue may be larger than what we have uncovered so far.

Therefore, to protect professional colleagues and honest journalists who are working honorably in the virtual space, and to disassociate myself from this individual due to his brief cooperation with Abdi Media, I am writing this note as a warning.

Be cautious and mindful of where and with whom you invest your credibility and money.

For instance, in the future, if organizations or certain individuals expose the records and background of this person, Mohsen Sohrabi, in an attempt to tarnish the reputation of certain prominent figures by pointing out that they agreed to interviews or discussions with someone with such a legal history, don’t be surprised—or if other matters come to light in different ways.

This note is being published after months of patience, tolerance, assistance, investigation, and consultation with some prominent figures.

I have shared this message after much reflection and ethical and human considerations. My only responsibility is to inform the media community and my colleagues, and if necessary, the relevant documents will be released."
