Saeed Hajarian, one of the theorists of the reformist movement, said:

Statements suggesting that beyond not participating in elections lies the street are meaningless. Between elections and the street, there are many avenues; various tactics have been tried worldwide, which the conservatives are ignorant of.

I defend a standard, non-vetted, and free ballot box, even if no reformist is elected.

I regret that for years we have been caught up in the pest control of elections instead of focusing on the development of the country.

The history of the reformists is tied to elections. The events of June 2 arose from elections, while the rival has an anti-election history.

The conservatives oppose free elections. At one time, they proposed vetting oversight; at another, figures like Mr. Mesbah Yazdi questioned the very principle of elections in the country's political system; at times, they spoke of discovery and allegiance, and now they are challenging the remnants of elections through legislation. / Etemad Newspaper
