Zarif deactivates his Telegram and WhatsApp accounts / Sending a message from the President's Strategic Deputy to his opponents; per the order of Mr. Pezeshkian, without worry.

Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Strategic Deputy to the President, posted an image of a verse of poetry on Instagram and wrote: 

Based on the order of the esteemed Dr. Pezeshkian and without any worries or concerns about the commotions, my colleagues and I at the Strategic Deputy of the Presidency have dedicated all our efforts and time to examining and proposing major strategic plans necessary for the progress and prosperity of the country and the well-being and peace of the brave people of Iran.

We hope to be able to mobilize the vast capabilities of the elite in great Iran to assist in making strategic decisions for the country, far from the fleeting controversies of politics.

Throughout my tenure over the past three decades, I have always felt obligated to be accountable to the people, and for this reason, since the expansion of communications in cyberspace, I have never had a manager or admin for any of my accounts and have read all messages myself and responded as much as possible.

However, in the past few months, the volume and repetition of messages and even resends to my accounts in cyberspace reached a point where just a brief glance and response to a small number of them would take hours from the rest time and research of this humble servant in the early mornings. Moreover, the inability to respond to the rest caused distress to many friends.

Therefore, I had to turn off my accounts on Telegram and WhatsApp. I am ashamed that from now on, I will not be able to serve you directly and online in cyberspace and I sincerely apologize. I request that from now on, you send your suggestions or criticisms to my official email address, which will be reviewed and followed up by my colleagues for the first time out of necessity, and a summary of which will be reported to me.
