چرا ایتالیا میزبان مذاکرات ایران شد؟

Certain factors in the Trump administration's relations with Italy's right-wing prime minister may have been instrumental in choosing Rome as the host of the second round of U.S.-Iran talks.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani have confirmed that the next round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States will be held next week in the Italian capital Rome.

Although Tajani has said that Rome has always hosted such talks, in recent years Italy has played a very marginal role in diplomatic consultations on Iran's nuclear program.

The two cities of Geneva and Vienna have usually been European cities that have hosted negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.

It seems that the type of relationship between Donald Trump and the Italian government was not ineffective in choosing the city of Rome for the first time to hold these talks.
