Greetings,

In the case of the negotiations with the United States that led to McFarlane's entry into Iran, the Ministry of Intelligence, especially the then Deputy for Foreign Intelligence, Seyed Ali Asghar Hejazi, who is currently the Deputy of the Leader of the Islamic Republic's Office, was kept in the dark about these secret negotiations. Sheikh Mohammad Mohammadi Reyshahri, the then Minister of Intelligence, became aware of these negotiations through other means and sent a letter to the founding leader, providing an intelligence report and warning that the responsible parties were engaged in such negotiations.

Ayatollah Khomeini initially responded in writing to Reyshahri, instructing him not to interfere and implicitly indicating that he was already aware of the situation.

Reyshahri insisted and corresponded again, expressing concerns that the dignity of the system might be at risk and that the reputation of the revolution could be harmed, etc.

This time, upon seeing Reyshahri's insistence, Ayatollah Khomeini reminded the responsible parties to be cautious and to maintain the status of the Islamic system.

Now, I do not intend to delve into the outcome of these negotiations, how they were leaked, and what happened afterward.

However, my question is:

Why, after about 40 years, does the Institute for the Preservation and Publication of Ayatollah Khomeini's Works, the Center for the Islamic Revolution Documents, and the Political Studies and Research Institute of the Ministry of Intelligence not publish these extremely important correspondences from Reyshahri and the response from the founding leader of the Islamic Republic, which are historically significant? Why have these matters not been included in the Sahifeh Noor?

Will you respond?
Will you publish this?
The hidden narrative of contemporary history.
