Following the efforts of Seyed Mostafa Tajzadeh’s family to secure his leave and attend his elder brother-in-law’s mourning ceremony, despite the approval announced by the head of the judiciary, the prosecutor had ordered him to be sent under guard (accompanied by an officer) to attend the funeral.
After being informed of this order, Tajzadeh considered leave his right and stated that under conditions unworthy of a political prisoner, he would not attend the funeral where the whole family was expecting to see him.
It is worth noting that three years and two months have passed since Tajzadeh’s re-arrest without a single day of leave. / Iran Times
