Amnesty International has called on the global community to send an independent international delegation of experts to Iran to investigate the situation of Armita Garavand, a 16-year-old girl.
However, the visit of this independent international delegation is contingent upon the approval of Iranian authorities.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, Amnesty International stated, “There is growing evidence that Iranian authorities are covering up the situation of Armita. She has been beaten by one of the enforcers of the mandatory hijab laws in Iran.”
