The head of the Expediency Council, referring to the FATF's re-referral to the Expediency Council
Referring to Ayatollah Khamenei's re-referral of the FATF to the Expediency Council following the President's request, the head of the Expediency Council said:
Now, at the request of the President, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution has referred the review of the FATF to the Assembly, the order was given to form a joint commission consisting of representatives of three specialized commissions: "Economic", "Political, Security and Defense", and "Legal and Judicial", to re-examine the issue and present its final documents in the forum of the Assembly, taking into account all aspects and considerations in accordance with the interests of the people.
