The former son-in-law of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, during the presidency of Dr. Mahmoud, was appointed as the head of Firouzabadi Hospital in Shahr-e Ray for a period, and was later designated to become the head of the National Standards Organization of Iran. However, after controversies arose for this specialized organization, the appointment was revoked, and he became an advisor at the Presidential Institution and the Expediency Discernment Council.
In addition to medicine, he also pursued other studies and engaged in private sector activities.
But it seems this market and activity were not faithful to him and his grand ideas, and he fell into debt. The creditors brought the case to the specialized commercial and knowledge-based judicial complex, and since no assets were found from him, he was sent to prison under Article 3 of the Law on the Execution of Financial Sentences [citations: 1,3,5,6,7].
I emphasize that this is not a criminal case but a civil one, and it has no connection to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
