Published for the first time – A portion of the remarks by the father of the Rezaeis (father of Reza, Ahmad, Mehdi, and Azar Rezaei), members of the "People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran," on February 11, 1979, in the presence of General Nematollah Nassiri, the former head of SAVAK, Lieutenant General Mehdi Rahimi, the military governor of Tehran at the time, and Sheikh Sadeq Khalkhali.

It was exactly hours after this meeting that Sadeq Khalkhali Givi sentenced to death Nematollah Nassiri (the former head of SAVAK), Mehdi Rahimi (the former police chief and military governor of Tehran), Reza Naji (the former military governor of Isfahan), and Manouchehr Khosrodad (the former commander of Army Aviation). At midnight on February 14, 1979—three days after the victory of the Islamic Revolution and one day after the formation of the interim government’s cabinet—this first group of officers and officials of the monarchical regime was executed by firing squad.
