There is no expectation of a miracle. What remains is not a golden opportunity, but the last string of hope: that Donald Trump will return from a path that clearly ends in disaster. A path that, if he persists in, will not only lead to a series of spectacular foreign policy failures, but will also shatter the image of the "genius trader." Ultimately, perhaps the same harsh and derogatory nickname he uttered for Joe Biden will eventually come to him: "an extremely destructive idiot."
