The Islamic Republic's defense of the opening of the door to negotiations/ negotiation instead of conflict has been one of the principles of the diplomacy of the Prophet of Islam/ This method is one of his political successes.

  Hamid Mirzadeh, former president of Azad University and former head of the Planning and Budget Organization, wrote in the Jomhuri Eslami newspaper:

The course of historical developments in the time of the Prophet (s) shows that one of the most common, general, and undeniable methods of the Prophet's diplomacy to create peace and abandon hostilities with enemies and hostile tribes was to open the door for negotiations and dialogue with them.

In addition to negotiating for the cessation of hostilities, in the history of the Prophet's political and cultural life, sending ambassadors to different lands has always been considered and used as an innovative propaganda strategy to promote the religion of Islam and the influence of Islamic values among different societies.
