Iran condemns new US sanctions on its energy sector.
Baghaei said the US sanctions show a "lack of goodwill and lack of seriousness" in negotiating with Iran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei on Wednesday (April 23) described the imposition of the sanctions as "bullying and illegal" and "in clear contradiction to the US claim to dialogue and negotiations".
Baghaei said the US sanctions show a "lack of goodwill and lack of seriousness" in negotiating with Iran.
The US Treasury Department on Tuesday sanctioned two Iranians, Asadollah and Meysam Imam Juma, who it said are "liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) export hubs".
The father and son own and operate an LPG sales, transfer and delivery network using several companies based in Iran and the United Arab Emirates, the Treasury Department statement said.
