If we assume that the result of negotiations with the United States is a complete deadlock and only beneficial for them,
First: Why does the Islamic Republic negotiate?
Second: Because foreign policy is entirely under the leader's control; if it is only beneficial for the Americans, will Ayatollah Khamenei approve the outcome?
