He has recognized the bottlenecks well, but he has had neither the ability nor the opportunity to make any changes.

Mehdi Ghamshi, a faculty member at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, wrote in the Jomhouri Eslami newspaper:

I feel sorry for Dr. Pezeshkian. He has inherited a bankrupt government and, in the first year of his administration, has also faced numerous complex crises. He has made reconciliation the focus of his work, but the greed of the opposing side has left no room for his government.

He has correctly identified the pressures but has had neither the ability nor the opportunity to make any changes.

Mr. President! Please, for the sake of your government and the country, avoid creating new crises by pursuing such ostensibly virtuous projects and stop them from the outset.

Your cry about the emptiness of the government treasury and your request for the people's support to overcome these conditions is correct, but seeing resolutions, tracking crisis-inducing expenses, and the inability to counter greed and lobbying is also unacceptable and will discourage people from supporting you.
