In a meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of Interior, the President reviewed the latest and most important measures for holding the upcoming elections. In this meeting, the head of the Election Headquarters first presented the preparations for holding the city and village council elections and the mid-term elections for the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Assembly of Experts.
After hearing the report, Mr. Pezeshkian emphasized the need for coordination and synergy between the officials of the election headquarters and the Islamic Consultative Assembly for the desirable and participatory holding of these election events, especially the elections for the Islamic city and village councils.
The meeting also discussed the issues of faster delivery of subway cars, a roadmap for addressing social issues, and social and economic issues in Tehran and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces.
