Ayatollah Shubayri Zanjani's public statement from his office on the need to explain and protect the doctrinal principles of the Imami Shi'a school

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon Sayyidina Muhammad and the family of the pure ones, and the curse on their enemies until the Day of Judgment.
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Shiites of Ali are the winners on the Day of Resurrection."

Imamiyya Shi'a beliefs are based on solid foundations and solid roots such as rational arguments, the judgments of the Divine Book, the axioms of the religion of Islam, mutawatir hadiths, and hadiths that are surrounded by definitive evidences and confirming indisputable historical facts. At the top of these foundations is the belief in the Imamate and the immediate will of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali ibn Abi Talib (Peace be upon him) and after him, the Imamate and Wilayat of his pure progeny, which is truly the pillar of faith and the basis of the true religion. As Hazrat Siddiqa the martyr, Fatima Zahra (Peace be upon her) in her sermon in the Prophet's Mosque - after the demise of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) - introduced following the family of Infallibility (Peace be upon them) as the source of the system of the Islamic Ummah and the essence of the Imamate as the cause of unity and protection from any difference and dispersion.

Over the centuries, great scholars and scholars, from Shaykh al-Saduq, al-Shaykh al-Mufid, al-Sayyid Sharif al-Murtaza, al-Shaykh al-Tusi, al-'Allama al-Hilli, al-Khwaja al-Tusi, and Mir Hamid al-Husayn al-Hindi (may Allah be pleased with them), have tried to explain these principles of belief, and by writing magnificent and expensive works and by means of argument and argument, they have completed the argument for everyone and have paved the way of guidance for those who seek the truth. These works are a clear testimony to the truth of the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them).

Accordingly, it is the responsibility of scholars, thinkers, and writers to explain, promote, and defend the true teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them) by using reliable and documented sources, and to clearly reveal the illuminating truth of the tree of Wilayah in various dimensions.

Religious scholars, following the Imams of Huda (Peace be upon them) and their order, have always emphasized on avoiding sedition and strife, but just as it is not permissible to create sedition among Muslims, weakening the beliefs of the truth is also a great mistake and an irreparable loss.

And it is very unfortunate that in a country that is proud to follow the enlightened school of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them) and the flag bearer of the Wilayat of Amir al-Mu'minin (Peace be upon them), from time to time derogatory materials that are incompatible with the basis of religious beliefs are published and the truth of the teachings of religion is distorted or concealed, and the sacred heart of the Imam of the Age (Peace be upon him) and the hearts of all Shiites are filled with grief.

It is necessary for those in charge of the media to correct the wrong practice of superficiality and leniency in introducing the indisputable beliefs of Twelver Shi'a, and by using the opinions of experts in understanding religion and thinkers, they should recognize their responsibility towards the Shiite belief and compensate for the shortcomings by using a solid scientific method, proper planning, and the use of the necessary elegance.

It is clear that the door of scientific dialogue based on the documents of the Qur'an and Sunnah, as promoted by great scholars such as Grand Ayatollah Boroujerdi (may Allah have mercy on him), has always been opened, and Shiite scientific seminaries have always declared their readiness for discussion and dialogue in order to explain the teachings of Islam.

We ask God Almighty to make everyone successful in protecting the divine religion and spreading the pure teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them) and to place us among his true followers.
