Araghchi: Addressing inequality and discrimination must be accelerated

Foreign Minister: Past experience has shown that the United Nations Human Rights Council and other human rights institutions have sometimes been used against some countries.

The Human Rights Council should continue to work on the basis of the principle of fairness and address related issues, including inequality, discrimination, and other human rights violations.

With a firm belief in cooperating with the United Nations human rights mechanisms, Iran will continue this cooperation at the global level as well as with other countries and take joint steps with them.
