Last night, in the Basij student program of Imam Sadiq University, Basij students were complaining that why they and their university are mentioned as people and a closed and frozen environment and against any dialogue and interaction in the media?

They introduced themselves as open people and defenders of discussion and discussion, and they considered inviting me to be a proof of this feature.

The fact is that the discussions took place in a very respectful and calm atmosphere, and at the same time, frank and open.

The students who participated in the discussion were ardent fans of Sheikh Mohammad Taqi Misbah of Yazdi, and apparently their mental structure was completely influenced by Mr. Misbah's opinions.  From this point of view, it is clear what is their religious and political view and their understanding of the internal and external conditions of the country.

However, they considered Mr. Misbah as a supporter of interaction and dialogue and a companion of the late Motahari.  The basic differences between the ideas of the late Motahari and Mr. Misbah, which I briefly explained, were not accepted by them.

In any case, the majority of them seemed to me to be honest young people, although I also told them that if they do not change their thinking and methods, they will be part of the problem rather than the solution, even for this system that they are staunch defenders of!

In the end, it is necessary to remember that in the past years, it was impossible to hold such a meeting in a calm and friendly environment, and the work usually led to aggressiveness and verbal conflict, and maybe even threats and clashes!  So, something has changed in the meantime, but maybe too late!
