Javad Larijani said on the Iranian TV news channel, "We could have refused to negotiate, that is, we could have given our views to Oman, Oman would give it to the United States, the United States would give it to Oman again, and Oman would transfer it to us again so that we could move forward a little bit and see if there is room for negotiations."
The former secretary of the Judiciary's Human Rights Headquarters added: "These are spoiled, unruly, and irrelevant people, and suddenly they open the door of the room and say, 'Leave it alone, Dad! Let's negotiate with each other so that time is not wasted."
