O God, others judge as they wish with the permission of their conscience, but You, O the Exalter of the faithful.

The text of this open letter is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

O God, others judge as they wish with the permission of their conscience, but You, O Honor of the believers and Disgrace of the disbelievers and hypocrites, who encompass my entire existence, know well that: "I only intend to do good as much as I can, and my success comes only from God; in Him I have placed my trust, and to Him I turn."

Dear Brother, His Excellency Hojjat al-Islam and al-Muslimin Mohseni Ejei, Honorable Head of the Judicial Authority, Peace be upon you.

Part of this letter is my personal expression, and another part reflects the current sentiments of all those who in recent days, whether in person or over the phone, I have spoken with in various meetings and places from different sectors of society, including judges, employees, lawyers, legal professionals, university professors, clergy, merchants, farmers, workers, women and men, the elderly and the youth.Firstly, as you know better than I do, God is our witness that despite the differences of opinion we have on political and governmental issues, I proudly state solely for the sake of God:
Since the presidency of the judiciary has changed from a council to an individual, I consider you the most suitable, bravest, smartest, most decisive, purest, and most experienced individual among the heads of this power. Since the beginning of your responsibility until now, I have proudly declared this truth in hundreds of meetings and encounters with lawyers, judges, employees, and ordinary people.Although I do not need to return to the judiciary, I am ready to serve with all my strength in order to strengthen the Islamic Republic system, especially the judiciary. Despite the neglect I faced after the events of 2009 from some high-ranking officials, including yourself, I, along with a group of former judicial colleagues, intelligence personnel, university professors, and IT experts, held weekly meetings in my office for nearly two years, discussing hundreds of hours, and developed over 117 solutions to reduce cases and enhance the judiciary.

One of these matters, which I mentioned to you during our face-to-face meeting, was a legal proposal that would require all citizens to draft their transaction documents in the presence of at least one legal expert. In our view, this action could have a significant impact on reducing the inflow of cases to the judiciary. Now, while expressing my complaint about the damaging delay in implementing some reformative measures, I sincerely thank you for your courageous and godly decision in dealing with some close associates of Mr. Sedighi (our mutual friend), and I wish for the success of the judiciary in proving its neutrality, justice orientation, and adherence to rights.

Secondly, Mr. Sadighi is not the only traceable individual among the high-ranking judicial appointees. I know another person in the judiciary who, based on multiple pieces of information published on social media—complete with names and details—and also my personal experience, has some of his associates under suspicion. A few years ago, a modest and honorable woman wearing a full Islamic veil visited my office and with a sigh of sadness said: In pursuing a case at one of the judicial complexes in Tehran, she had approached the son of that senior judicial member through the introduction of an acquaintance, and he explicitly stated: "We do not accept cases worth less than one billion, but since this person has introduced you, pay 100 million." After much pleading, this woman was only able to raise and pay 80 million tomans. The mentioned individual also spoke on the phone with the head of the complex right there and placed an order for her, but no further action was taken, and the court issued a ruling against her.

Dear Brother, before inaction in this matter severely damages the reputation of the judiciary, the clergy, and the Islamic Republic, please take decisive action without the usual considerations of expediency. A serious approach towards this individual – who simultaneously holds two important judicial positions – can serve as a model for all who exploit their positions. Consequently, people will be relieved from their nuisance, and the honest and concerned individuals will find greater motivation to serve in the judiciary and other institutions.Believe me, among various segments of the faithful and revolutionary people, the belief has taken shape that the impact of a decisive and faithful response to individuals like Mr. Sedighi and the mentioned individual is far greater than addressing millions of cases or thousands of hours of speeches about the integrity of the judicial system and public trust in it.

With gratitude and respect to all the faithful, noble, and enlightened judges and staff of the Judiciary and other pillars of the Islamic Republic systemA soldier of Islam, the Imam, the Revolution, the country, and the leadershipA lawyer, seminary student, and reinstated judgeMostafa Senayi Far
