Information newspaper 1933 March 18 announced the result of the trial of Abdul Hossein Timurtash, the minister of the court, for the crime of corruption and bribery.
Timurtash was sentenced to prison, dismissal from government service and a fine, and died a suspicious death in prison a year later.
