The story of Saint Thomas

St. Thomas was so fat that in class, the handles of his desk were cut off so that he could sit comfortably. He was smart and innovative, but he was quick to believe, and this quickness became the reason for him to be beaten.

One day the teacher (who was a priest) said in the class:
"There's a donkey flying outside the classroom right now."

Thomas rushed out to see the "Flying Donkey". When he came back, everyone laughed at him.

But Thomas said something that permeates every thought.

"I find it more believable for a donkey to fly than for a priest to lie," he said.

The class fell into silence.

Lying by the official custodians of any religion causes the biggest damage to the same religion.
