[Mr. Abdullah Nouri] Minister of Interior came. There was a discussion about the integration plan of the police forces [= Islamic Revolution Committees, City Police and Gendarmerie], Tehran Municipality, governorates and fight against evildoers.

Messrs. [Sidreza] Zavarei and [Morteza] Nabavi came. They asked for opportunities for the newspaper Resalat and talked about economic policies. Mr. [Sidjalil] Seydzadeh, the representative of Bakhtran [= Kermanshah] came. He is complaining about the governor of Bakhtran. He praised the economic programs of the government and talked about the problems of the parliament lines.

A group of representatives of Khuzestan came and asked for help to solve the deficiencies of Khuzestan and rebuild it. Mr. Allameh Seyyed Fazlullah came. They talked about Lebanon and the loss of Taif's approvals. We decided to condemn. He asked questions about the policy of dealing with the West and America and the hostages. Mr. [Syed Abbas] Mousavi, the representative of Izeh, came and asked for the problems of that city.

In the evening, Mr. Dr. Hashemi [Golpayegani] came for the program of the Cultural Revolution Council. I talked with Dr. [Mohsen] Noorbakhsh [Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance] about the exchange rate, which has come down today and he was satisfied. Mohsen came. They talked about the Atomic Energy Organization and the Customs and Trade Organization, who say they need an inspection.

The night of the meeting of the heads of forces was in Mr. Khamenei's office. They talked about the cases of militant groups. Regarding Mehdi Tajer's letter, we agreed to accept his cooperation. The judicial situation, economic issues, prisoners, etc. were also discussed. I came to my office at half past nine. I did the work until half past ten at night and slept.
