I went to the assembly early in the morning. [Mr. Hossein Nili] The Minister of Mines and Metals wanted help to solve the problems of moving the central office of Isfahan Steel to Tehran. The representatives of Isfahan [in the Islamic Council] oppose. Mr. [Javad] Maghsoodi, the person in charge of the Friday prayer headquarters, came to Tehran. He is dissatisfied with the Hajj management, but contrary to my expectations, he agreed that this year's Hajj was organized better than the previous one, but he considered the cause of it to be outside the management. In general, he does not consider the performance of the government to be good. Mr. [Habibullah] Askarowaladi also told Ahmad Agha the same things. They say that Imam and Maha's support of the government will put the people in front of the system instead of the government.

Mr. Dr. Sadraei - Bilal - one of his friends from studying [religious sciences in] Qom, came to visit and express his readiness for work. In the evening, Mr. [Hossein] Kamali, the representative of Tehran, came. He complained about the pressure of a faction of the party [Islamic Republic] on the house of workers - which is the radical wing of the party. Mr. Mohsen Rezaei brought the Mimak operation report. We have had about two hundred and fifty martyrs and significant victories. He expresses doubt about the Panjvin operation.

Before noon, the representatives of Tehran had a meeting where the final report [on the construction] of Tehran's subway and sewerage, and the problem of water in the south of Tehran and the swamps created in the lands of Varamin, etc., were raised. A group was selected to study and come up with theories about the cost of building the subway and speeding up the sewage work, visiting the swamps in the south and studying the plans and solutions.

In the evening, the board of directors [Islamic Council] had a meeting. The discussion about the house of representatives and their expectations in welfare matters took a lot of time. At night, the heads of the forces were my guests in the assembly. There was a discussion about countering the same and the harmful actions of our enemies in relation to the Iranian Rial and the implementation of the decisions regarding Japan's plan [about the ceasefire in the war in the region] of the Persian Gulf and Mr. Saud Al-Faisal's [Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia] visit to Iran.

A meeting was also held with the presence of [Mr. Mohammad Nabi Habibi], the mayor of Tehran, [Mr. Natiq Nouri], the Minister of the Interior, and [Mr. Mir Emadi], the Prosecutor of Tehran; Decisions were made regarding the prevention of illegal constructions in Tehran and solving the land transfer problems. I stayed the night in the parliament.
