From home, we went to Sadid factory on Saveh road. It is vast and huge. It has pipe making, casting and machine making. Most of its shares are from the Sadouq Foundation. They gave explanations and we visited the pipelines; It was interesting to me. I opened a new line of the spiral method. They can produce pipes with a diameter of fifty centimeters to two meters from coil sheets. With this industry, we can provide all our needs by ourselves. The factory is second-hand and they bought it cheaply. They have the pipes of the Tabriz water supply project and have signed a contract with the water supply project of the Ministry of Energy. Then the foundry and machine building and exhibition were visited. I gave an interview and gave a speech to the employees. During the war, this factory also produced large quantities of mortar shells and cannons for us.

I came to my office. Mr. [Ali] Niazi, [Chief of the Armed Forces Prosecutor's Office], came to explain the case of the German espionage accused. He was recently arrested and is strongly protested by Germany. I said that it was done out of time and it was not supposed to be done right now. There was no proper justification;

He wanted to blame Mr. [Mortaza] Asefi, the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who defended himself on the phone and blamed Mr. Niazi; It seems that the mistake is self-inflicted and intentional.

In the evening, the currency committee had a meeting. The incomes and expenses were examined and it was decided that the market needs will be given and measures should be taken to limit the demand for currency. I did the work until half past eight and came home.
