Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Najafi, [Minister of Education] came home; We went to the opening of the cultural and artistic creations complex of the intellectual development center for children and teenagers. It is a huge project that was started before the revolution and remained half-finished after the revolution. Last year I told it to be activated and today the first phase of it was opened along with the international exhibition of children's books. It is an important and vast complex with an interesting bazaar, publications, a modern cinema hall and a sundial. This exhibition was in partnership with Bologna Center. They have brought 1,700 book titles that will be gifted to Iran after the end of the exhibition. It will be a good treasure for our researchers. I interviewed and gave a speech to the staff. I also visited one of the mobile libraries for the villagers. Then we watched the movie they made about the same issue in the movie theater. It is interesting, but one-dimensional and the problems of the work were greatly enlarged.

I went to the office. [Ayatollah Seyyedaboulfazl Mousavi Tabrizi], the Attorney General of the country came. He gave a report on the work and conditions of the prisons. He complained about the leadership office and about the seizure order of the court rulings regarding the temporary cultivation lands; He expressed concern about the high prices and asked for kindergartens for the children of prisoners and for miscellaneous expenses of his clients.

Mr. [Hasan Tehrani] Moghadam, one of the commanders of the IRGC missile unit, came. He gave a report on the status of our ground-to-ground missiles and their types, and thanked me for my support and asked for support in getting the Scud D missile; He is a positive and compassionate person.

Mr. [Roland] Dumas, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, came. The meeting was informal. We talked about the development of cooperation between Iran and France. I criticized the weak reaction of the French government in front of the disruptions in the cooperation between the two countries; Such as the issue of [Shahpour's murder] Bakhtiar, where a judge distorted the French policy. He talked about his trip to Isfahan and his wife's meeting with Fati.

Eft and Mohsen were in my office at noon. After months of not coming to the office as a protest to the head of my office, Efat came with the mediation of the guards and the request of Mr. Mirmohammadi, [head of the president's office].

In the evening, I attended the meeting of the government board. There was the discussion of currency and the [approval] of the Mazandaran governor, which was left unfinished, and the discussion of preventing goods smuggling, whose regulations were approved. I came home at half past nine.
