Mr. Mohammadi Gilani called and asked about the punishment for moharebs who had repented, given interviews, and were serving in prison, and whose sentences we had previously prevented the prosecutor's office from carrying out. It was decided that we would ask the Imam. I asked Ahmad Agha by phone to seek the Imam's opinion. He did so, and the Imam had said that they should follow the opinion of the top-ranking officials, and it was decided that a final decision would be made in a meeting.
In the afternoon, I went to Parliament. I handled administrative work and read the reports. Early in the evening, at the President's office, I met with the Supreme Judicial Council and Ahmad Agha about the repercussions of the issues surrounding the Qom Vice Court and the repentant interviewees, and we decided that they should not be executed. I went to Parliament to sleep.
