Expediency Council had a meeting. Mr. [Mohammed] Yazdi's proposal regarding the permission to dismiss judges who are incompetent in terms of Sharia was approved with strict conditions. After the meeting, Mr. [Mahdi] Karroubi, [Chairman of the Islamic Council] came and expressed his displeasure about the recent dealings of the special court with Mr. [Hossein] Hashemian, the Deputy Speaker of the House and [Mr. Abulfazl Mousavian], the editor of the Khorasan newspaper, and asked for a remedy.
