In the meeting of the assembly of experts, the text of Ayatollah Montazeri's leadership text was discussed. Finally, after much discussion, Ayatollah Khamenei's proposal was approved with minor amendments. He was introduced as the people's choice to replace the imam and approved by the assembly of experts. It was decided that the text of the resolution should be signed by all members of the parliament.
We were the guests of Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei for dinner. There were also some experts. The discussion of the meeting was about the need to control seminaries so that unscrupulous people and spies do not penetrate. I came home at night.
