I was at home until three in the afternoon. I spent my time studying. Mr. Moiri gave a report on the reactions after the release of the French hostages. The Prime Minister made a phone call to announce the resolution of the Assembly [Determining Expediency of the Nizam] regarding urban lands. Aghazadeh [Oil Minister] asked for time to report on the trip to OPEC and related issues. I went to the parliament at half past three.

The gentlemen [Mohammed Jafar[Mahlati], head of the Islamic Republic's representation in the United Nations [and] Siros [Nasseri], the representative of Iran in the European headquarters of the United Nations] came from New York and Geneva. They reported on the results of the negotiations with the United Nations and the Security Council and brought the recent specific proposal of the Secretary General to start a committee to determine the aggressor and the ceasefire together, and about Halabja and the American aggression, they suggested that we file a complaint with the Security Council and request a meeting.

Agha Mohammadi came. Regarding the recent positions of Iraqi Kurdish groups, he said that they are afraid of the severity of Saddam's actions and the Halabja incident and want to be conservative. The oil minister came. He gave the OPEC travel report and travel plan to UAE, Indonesia, Greece and Brazil.

I went to the meeting of the central council of the militant clergy community. They decided to participate in the second phase of the elections. Mr. Mahdavi Kenny narrated the meeting with the imam that the imam has promised to compensate the militant clerics and others who were offended by the imam's recent statements after the elections. Some disagreed.
