I read and handled administrative tasks at Parliament until noon. The Minister of Defense came and gave a report on the progress of work at the front and in the military industry. Before noon, Mr. [Reza] Seyfollahi, the head of IRGC Intelligence, came and [spoke of] renewed contacts between Mr. [Seyyed Kazem] Shariatmadari and abroad. Then, members of the IRGC committee for organizing Pasdar Day ceremonies came, reported on their work, interviewed me, and filmed. They have a very extensive program.

In the afternoon, Mr. Khorram, Iran's former ambassador to Libya who has been appointed to our embassy in China, came and consulted regarding his approach in China. I said it is advisable to expand our political and economic relations. Mr. [Seyyed Hadi] Khosrowshahi, our ambassador to the Vatican, came and complained about the weakness of our propaganda abroad. He had a dissatisfied tone and mediated on a few matters. Mr. Foroughi, the head of IRGC Intelligence in Isfahan, came and complained about the situation of the Isfahan clergy.

Khorramshahr was completely captured and the enemy surrendered.

I spoke with the Prosecutor of Bandar Abbas regarding the dhows seized for carrying smuggled goods. The UAE government requests their release. He said that these individuals are Iranian and falsely present themselves as UAE subjects.

At the beginning of the night, we met with the Imam and consulted on the future of the war. He is very pleased. Together with the President and the Prime Minister, we were Ahmad Aqa's guests and conducted a joint interview. The liberation of Khorramshahr has filled everyone with joy.
