I contacted the Guardian Council to speed up the review of the budget bill and asked them not to act outside the scope of Sharia and the Constitution. The meeting of the Board of Directors of Sedavasima was held in my office. Several decisions were made. In the evening, Mr. [Reza] Amrollahi, the head of atomic energy, came. He was worried that his budget was not explicitly approved in the parliament and was assigned to the government. Mr. [Hossein] Kamali came and consulted about the support of other candidates in front of the party by Khaneh Kargar. Even though they are members of the party, I disagreed and said that they should not violate the party. Mr. Fazel Harandi came and he was from the party of Shiraz and Isfahan and he consulted to be nominated from Isfahan or Shiraz. We decided to decide tomorrow. Mr. Nouri, Imam's representative in Kuwait, came; He brought one million tomans for the front and told good news about the interest of the Arab people of the Persian Gulf towards the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Mr. Colonel [Abbas] Babayi came and complained about the lack of cooperation of Colonel Hoshang Sediq, the commander of the air force. The public relations [directors] of the parliament came and consulted for the [holding of] the week of the parliament and the elections. Dr. Rouhani came, we talked about the proposal of the Ministry of Oil about the front.
