The parliament was supposed to be closed this week, but we did not close it because of the accusation of parliamentarians fleeing from the bombing of Tehran. In the public meeting, two or three orders were made, and before the order, I spoke about the martyrdom of Ashikh Abbas Shirazi. In the afternoon, the Chinese ambassador came and said something to renew the invitation and explain the plan to visit China. In the evening, the Japanese ambassador came. Right at that moment, the Iraqi planes had attacked Tehran and the anti-aircraft defenses of the Majlis and the officers' college were working hard. He brought two letters from the presidents of the two Japanese parliaments and renewed his invitation [to visit this country].

We were supposed to hit Baghdad with rockets today, but due to the procrastination of the relevant officer, it was postponed until tomorrow. The news of limited strikes on Iraqi soldiers is spreading on the fronts. A group of representatives came to discuss the war and we talked for two hours. They were more critical of the commanders. I stayed the night in the parliament. [My son] Mehdi had a guest, I didn't come home and did administrative work in my office.
