In the morning, we went to visit the under-construction 'Pardisan Nature Park' in west Tehran; it covers about three hundred hectares and is located south of Shahrak-e Gharb. It is an interesting area with an important scientific design provided by American experts before the revolution. It is being built at a cost of forty million tomans.
We visited different parts of the park by car. I spoke to the Environmental Organization staff and encouraged them. The plan is to replicate the nature of the five continents of the world there and release suitable wild animals.
From there, we went to visit the Natural History Museum, which was also interesting. Most of the collected animal specimens were the hunts of Shahpour Abdolreza Pahlavi. They are valuable and rare specimens collected from around the world. At the end, I conducted an interview.
I went to my office. Dr. Habibi came for current affairs. I visited the Marble Palace building, which has been renovated for ceremonial purposes. I participated in a meeting of the Supreme National Security Council. The agenda included Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Afghan immigrants in Iran. I discussed foreign affairs with Dr. Velayati [Minister of Foreign Affairs].
I worked until nine-thirty at night and then went home.
