From morning until noon, I stayed at the home of Sheikh Mohammad Hashemian in Rafsanjan, and a number of relatives and acquaintances came to see me and raised their concerns. At noon, I attended Friday prayers. The people’s sentiments were very positive, and I was praised excessively. I do not like such praise.
I gave a detailed speech about the nature of our disagreements with Mr. Bani-Sadr and made some revelations. I think it will be enlightening and useful.
In the afternoon, I set out for Bahreman, Nowq, my native village. Along the way, the residents of Esmailabad and Ferdowsieh had gathered to welcome me, so I had to speak briefly in thanks. At sunset, we reached the three villages of Bahreman, Nematabad, and Qasemabad. These three adjoining villages are collectively referred to as three villages. They gave us an enthusiastic welcome, with slogans against Bani-Sadr. We prayed in congregation, and I gave a speech.
First, I went to my mother’s house, which is our ancestral home. We had dinner as guests at the home of Mr. Qasem Safarian. They hosted a large number of people for dinner, and it was an elaborate meal. Late at night, we went to Kerman. We were supposed to stay at the home of Mr. Seyyed Hossein Marashi, a member of the Jihad Council. We did not have the exact address, so we went to Mr. Fahim’s house and went to sleep at around one in the morning.
