Mr. Moghadam, the imam of the Hamburg Mosque and Mr. Khaliq came from the Lebanese Ulema Assembly. Mr. Moghadam complained about the problems of Islamic students in Europe and their inactivity, and they were satisfied with the attention of the Turks, Arabs, etc. to the revolution. Mr. Khaliq wanted more help for Lebanon.

In the evening, I participated in the meeting of the central council of the [Islamic Republic] party. We were the guests of Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei for Iftar. In the evening, we had a meeting with Mr. Sayad [Shirazi] and [Mohsen] Rezaei and Ayatollah Khamenei to discuss the new plan of future operations. They said the theory of Khatam al-Anbia camp [about the operation method]; They demanded a lot of uneducable personnel, which was rejected.

It was decided to act with the possible forces and a time [to carry out the operation] was determined. The preparation of the IRGC for conducting operations in the Persian Gulf region was also discussed. I went to the assembly at night.
