We had a busy day. Early in the morning, we went to the airport and flew to Nagasaki city to see the museum of the American atomic bomb explosion 41 years ago. The governor and the mayor were welcomed. From the airport, we went to the port to see the Mitsubishi Shipyard. They took us on a tour of the port with a ship, and then the company president and the factory manager gave us statistics.

Then we visited the shipyard and power plant by car. The turbines of the Shahid Rajaei power plant are made there. At noon, we were guests of Japan at the hotel, and in the museum, they explained the effects of the atomic bomb explosion and played a film. It is very bitter.

I laid a wreath at the atomic bomb victims' grave and gave an interview. I spoke with two people injured in the explosion. I brought one of them named Ajilata to the airport and he explained a lot on the way. He himself was injured in the factory 1200 meters away from the explosion site, 250 people out of 8000 employees died and his whole family was burned in the house 120 meters away from the explosion and he could not find their bodies. He said that the Japanese government has not helped them effectively.

We returned to Tokyo at six o'clock. I went to the embassy and did an interview with TV and another with a Japanese newspaper. We had dinner at the embassy and met Iranians living in Tokyo. We saw one of Mr. Bahloul's colleagues in the Goharshad case, named Moqtadari, who escaped and lives in Japan. At night, I interviewed with American TV and Japanese economic magazine. The reports were taken by telex, and when I read them, there was nothing important.
