Dr. [Mohsen] Noorbakhsh, [Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance], came for the issues of budget and currency, economic adjustment and foreign policy, election issues, and had questions regarding the supervision of the Guardian Council. Mr. [Mohammad Hasan] Tolayi, the governor of Khuzestan, came. He gave the reconstruction report and asked for the speed of the work.
In the evening, the Supreme Council of National Security had a meeting. We discussed about Iraqi refugees, displaced Iraqi soldiers, the security of the east and west of the country, Kuwaiti Airbus planes, Dr. Velayati's trip to Pakistan, and the issue of Afghanistan and conscription. At night, we were the guest of leadership with Mr. Ahmad. There was a discussion about Palestinian issues and the discussions of the Supreme National Security Council.
