Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Hadi [Najafabadi] and Sadeghi from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs came. They discussed the policy of dealing with the countries of the southern Persian Gulf. I told them to go to reform politics. Dr. Hadi expressed his opinions about the cabinet.

Mr. Mahdinejad came. Regarding the murder of [Abd al-Rahman] Ghasemlu [the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party], he said, "After the charges were dropped, the Austrians have treated us well." They acquitted [Mohammed] Jafari [Sahraroudi] and sent him to Iran with formalities. Mr. [Ali] Agha Mohammadi came. He had gone to meet Jafari [Iranian diplomat]. He offered to give an interview and thank the Austrians for preventing conspiracies against Iran.

In the evening of Islamic Azad University Medical Department, Dr. [Ali Akbar] Velayati, Dr. [Moussi] Zargar, Dr. Kalanter, Dr. Sahabi and some other doctors came and asked about providing a hospital for medical students of Islamic Azad University. I said that the air force hospital should be used and the future minister [of health] should cooperate with [Azad] University. Ayatollah Mousavi Ardabili [head of the judiciary] came to my office that night. The plans and members of the cabinet were consulted. I stayed in the parliament for dinner and sleep. Mehdi had a guest at home.
