I went to the parliament at eight thirty in the morning. I read the reports. The coup d'état in Sudan and the results of my trip to the Soviet Union are the subject of discussions and media attention. At nine o'clock I went to the Constitutional Review Council. We worked until noon. I returned to my office. I did office work. Mr. [Ali] Jannati explained about the issue of buying chemicals from a German factory, which has been making a lot of noise these days from America and Germany.

In the evening, we had a meeting to review the constitution. The night of the meeting of the heads of forces was in the office of Ayatollah Khamenei. The procurement of basic goods and the sale of gas to Dubai with pipelines from the Salman field in the sea, the issues of Hajj and the effects of the trip to Russia, and agreements were negotiated. I went to my office late. I worked until midnight and slept. Because of the weak security in Jamaran, I go home less after the Imam's death.
