In the afternoon, gentlemen [Gholam Mohsin [Nadi], Mohammad Mahdi [Purgol], Sijjavad [Angji and] Gholamabas] came as pilgrims. They had gone to Dubai and Sharjah to see the oilseed fields - Halophyt - which were recently discovered by the University of Arizona. They claim that these oil seeds can be cultivated with salty sea water and in salty lands by the sea. They have seen a farm and warehouse of its products and have negotiated with the English company responsible for it. This company gives its privilege for a fee and is ready to come to Iran. If the claims are true and it happens, it will be very important for Iran because of the abundant coastal lands and the great need for oilseeds and fodder. They brought a sample of it. Mr. Zairi used to say that its plant is indigenous and dry on the shores of Bandar Abbas, but this type has been modified. I encouraged them to continue their work.
I did the backlog in my office until half past eight. I came home at night. Mohsen came from Bandar Abbas. He gave a report on the self-sufficiency seminar of the Revolutionary Guards. Efat wants to serve in Ansar al-Mujahideen organization for the families of fighters. I am also satisfied.
