They told about the country's water supply situation and the needs, shortages and bottlenecks and asked for additional funds to supply water to Tehran and other cities.

Mr. [Alireza] Moiri, [President's International Advisor] came. Reported the trip to Türkiye. Mr. Özal, [President of Türkiye] said that they do not want to enter Iraq, but the Iraqi government must be overthrown. In the afternoon of chastity, he had lunch with me.

In the evening, [Mr. Nawaz Sharif], the Prime Minister of Pakistan and his entourage came. First we had a private meeting and then an official public negotiation; He is a humble person and wants to cooperate with us. He has a plan to resolve the war and has no new news. He wanted us to sign the plan to take it to Türkiye, Syria and Egypt. I said apparently it is not accepted.

It is better to understand the opinions first in this trip and then tell the plan. For our own issues, cooperation in oil and gas, roads and several other issues were discussed.

The Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution had a meeting. We gave dinner in honor of Pakistani guests; In the evening, we talked ceremonially and had private negotiations. He told about the important weapons secrets of Pakistan and expressed his willingness to cooperate with us. I did not go home at night and worked in my office until late.
