In the evening, I attended the meeting of the government board. Today, the impeachment of Dr. [Iraj] Fazel, the Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, took place in the parliament in the morning and evening. At the end of the meeting, it was reported that he did not pass the vote of confidence. There were 114 votes in favor, 115 votes against and 17 abstentions. I thanked him for his services and regretted his departure from the government. He also gave a good short talk; Majlesis were upset with him.

We had a meeting with the leadership at night. We discussed about the Islamic student associations, the health minister, the IRGC issues, the regional crisis and many other minor issues. I came home after dinner. Efat was upset about the incident [impeachment and dismissal] of Dr. Fazel and criticized him harshly.
