I came to the parliament. They said that the meeting of the Supreme War Support Council is waiting. I went but it was not formed, I returned to the parliament. Mr. Rafiq Dost came. I talked about important strategic weapons. Mr. [Sidkamal] Kharazi came and gave the report of his trip to Lebanon. He spoke about the lack of cultural efforts there and the need for a strong manager, preferably a representative of the Imam, to focus the activities of the various currents.

In the afternoon, Mr. [Gholam Mohsin [Jami] Imam Juma of Abadan] came and told about the need to take action to save the palm trees of Abadan and sweeten the water in Manshir. In the evening, two or three Pakistani scholars who participated in the Islamic Thought Conference came. They had several questions: Why are we friends with Syria, as opposed to Iraq? Why don't we oppose the Soviet Union like the United States? And they asked our opinion about the position of Shia in Pakistan, in front of the political factions, and the question why some scholars are hated and under scrutiny in Iran?

The Chinese delegation also came as a guest of the [Islamic Thought] conference. They told some of the situation of the Muslims there. The Chinese ambassador was also with them.

Mr. Sayad Shirazi came. He complained about the lack of progress in the work of the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of Decisions in the Persian Gulf Islands. At night Mr. Col. Torabi [Commander of Security and Intelligence of the Army] came and discussed the questions for the two-way spy. Mr. Hosni Saadi and Jamali came. Plans for future operations were explained and referenced.
