At half past eight in the morning, Mr. [Hamid] Mirzadeh and [Mohsen] Mehralizadeh, the managers of Kish, came. They reported the work and I encouraged them. I emphasized on the development of recreational facilities and healthy and well-being.

We went to visit the construction plans of the island and the opening of the new 37 megawatt power plant. We visited desalination plants, Daniyal Kish complex, residential complexes, Farhangian camp, Nakhlestan and Daryapai wharf, which lasted until half past one in the afternoon. We prayed in the mosque that is being repaired and developed by the Shiites of Kish. I ordered to make the mosque beautiful and clean. It is next to the beach and it is possible to create suitable views for the mosque.

We had lunch in the pavilion. At half past three, we had tea in the beautiful place of the teahouse under the big tree and visited the ruins of the old city that were discovered in Kish.

In the evening [Mr. Mahmoud Hojjati], the governor of Sistan and Baluchistan and the deputies came. They told about the many construction works that have been done in these two years with the support of the government in Sistan and Baluchistan and reported the preparations for the establishment of the free zone in Chabahar. It was decided that after the month of Ramadan, I will give the governor the responsibility of the region. Local and military leaders and personalities came to Kish. I greeted They thanked for the progress of affairs in Kish.

I walked a bit on the beach. The sea tide was interesting to me. Many of the parts that were usually under water have come out and the corals are visible. We went to the airport to return to Tehran. They said that the weather in Tehran is bad and it is not possible to land in Mehrabad. We returned and stayed the night in Kish.

Mr. [Hamid] Mirzadeh came and reported on his trip to Australia. He told me about Mehdi's education and that I should send him money. He called for help to Australian Muslims.
