At nine o'clock in the morning, Mr. [Gholamreza] Faruzesh [Minister of Construction Jihad] came and appealed to Jihad to provide a part of water affairs and improve villages and rural industries. Mr. [Bijan Namdar] Zanganeh [Minister of Energy] came and, on the contrary, demanded that water affairs should not be handed over to Jihad. He asked about the riyal credits of the plans of the Ministry of Energy.

Mr. [Gholamohsin] Jami Imam came to Abadan on Friday. He complained about [Mr. Mousavi Jazayeri] Imam Juma of Ahvaz taking power, who became the leader's representative and was effective in replacing [Mr. Mohsen Mirdamadi] the governor of Khuzestan. In the evening, the government board had a meeting. Administrative reforms were discussed. It was decided that all the ministers should come up with a plan to eliminate the bureaucracy in their department.

At night, we were guests of Mr. Khamenei. The approvals of the Supreme National Security Council and the Afghanistan Council and the budget of the armed forces were negotiated and agreed upon. I came home Chastity had also arrived from Rafsanjan.
