I reached the parliament very soon. As both vice presidents were absent, I stayed in the public meeting until noon. In the afternoon, one of the employees of the parliament came to do administrative work. In the evening, Mr. [Gholamabas [Zairi], the representative of Bandar Abbas and a member of the House Speaker's Board] came. I had given an amount of charity dollars to be converted into Rials. Each dollar brought 1062 rials at the free rate.

Mr. Sanjaghi came and explained the future operation plan. Just came from the area. Dr. Rouhani told the results of the negotiations and the plan to shut down the burning oil well in Dehlran and consulted about the defense budget in Riyal and foreign currency to make a decision in the Defense Commission. At night, Mr. Alizadeh [in charge of IRGC Industries] came and asked for more foreign currency funding for IRGC Industries.

In the evening, in the meeting of the heads of the forces, most of the discussions were around the authority of identifying government interests. We have already made a proposal to the imam, which the imam did not accept, and according to Ahmad Agha's statement, the opinion of the imam is that this group should be able to make laws independently without having to deal with the opinions of the Majlis and the Guardian Council. We reached a new proposal, based on a combination of this group and the jurists of the Guardian Council, which Ahmad Agha was supposed to present to the Imam. I did not go home at night.
